Sony Xperia M receiving Android 4.3 update

Sony is rolling out Jellybean 4.3 update to Xperia M which has is quiet popular among youth as it looks and runs good. The single sim version of phone is currently receiving update and this takes the build number to 15.4.A.0.23.

According to Sony Official Changelog Changes are

This upgrade for your Xperia™ smartphone includes many improvements, such as:

  • Google Android 4.3 (Jellybean), bringing smooth UI and graphics enhancements
  • New version of Battery STAMINA Mode for longer battery life
  • Updated camera interface bringing Burst Mode, Superior Auto & More
  • Updated applications from Sony featuring Walkman, Album, Movies & More
  • Latest security enhancements from Android 4.3

New firmware is already available through OTA or Sony PC Companion.

OTA can be done by going to Settings > About phone > Software updates > System updates.

It is recommended to switch on to WiFi for update and have a minimum 50% charge.

Sony Xperia C price dropped, headphones free with Xpeia M and M Dual

Sony Xperia C is selling like hot cakes in India since it launch and now Sony has dropped the price from ₹ 20,490 to ₹ 19,490. Sony Xperia C has a 5″ screen, 1.2GHz quad core CPU and 8 megapixel camera. Sony Xperia C comes bundled with with a headphone and Accidental Damage Cover of 6months.

Sony has not slashed prices of Xperia M and M Dual instead have introduced free headphone offer in Xperia M too so now user can be aware to ask for headphone when they buy Xperia M.

Sony has lifetime protection policy for dealers so all dealers will be receiving headphones even for old stock and will be getting credit note for price drop so make sure you don’t loose the benefit of price drop or free headphones with your Xperia. This scheme is applicable from today.
