HTC One M8 gets a Windows 8.1 twin Verizon exclusive

HTC One M8 after ruling hearts of Android fans is all set to rock Windows Phone lovers with same awesome specs and design which won critical acclaim around the world.

HTC One M8 has retained the unibody design and now its more metallic than ever as plastic parts are limited to bottom and top edges and every thing else is metallic.

HTC One M8 has a beautiful gorgeous 5″ display with 1080p resolution which is enough for sharp picture quality. It has powerful 2014 flagship CPU i.e Snapdragon 801 clocked at 2.3GHz with Adreno 330 GPU coupled with 2GB RAM.

HTC One M8 also retains Dual Speaker with Boomsound and Dual Rear Camera with various enhancement. One camera is for depth and other Ultrapixel camera is for image and after taking image the focus can be adjusted and background can be blurred just like DSLR. There’s a 5-megapixel front camera for some excellent selfie’s which are quiet popular in today time.

HTC One M8 has usual bunch of connectivity options that a flagship posses like Dual Band WiFi 802.11 a, b, g, n, n 5GHz, ac, Bluetooth 4.0, LTE, 42.2mbps HSDPA+, NFC, DLNA, Miracast, MHL, Tethering, Computer sync, OTA sync, Infrared etc.

HTC One M8 will come in gunmetal grey options as of now and has Internal Storage of 32 GB but good news is there is external storage slot this time enabling us to add additional 128GB using micro-sd card. There is 2600mAH batterywhich will be enough consiering battery friendly Windows Phone OS 8.1.

HTC One M8 will be available from today with two-year plan only on Verizon for 99$.

HTC Butterfly 2 Officially announced for India

HTC who is slightly recovering from trauma it received with success of Samsung Galaxy lineup is quickly recovering thanks to lesser yet better new products with emphasis on software updates HTC is minting gold again. Now HTC has launched HTC Butterfly 2.

HTC Butterfly 2 succeeds the original butterfly and has 5-inch, full-HD 1080p display, along with quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.5GHz. It also has 2 GB RAM and comes in 16GB/32GB variants and micro-sd slot which can take cards upto 128 GB.

As seen on HTC One M8 there’s a duo camera although now main camera is of 13-megapixels instead of ultrapixels on M8. The front camera is same BSI 5 megapixels which offers excellent selfie’s and supports 1080p video recording.

HTC Butterfly 2 will come in single sim variant and feature HTC Sense 6 on Android Kitkat. It will also feature 4G, 3G, WiFi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, NFC and DLNA. It will come in three colors Blue, Red and White.

It is also waterproof and dustproof with IPX5/IPX7 certification and comes with Boom Sound front stereo speakers with built in amplifiers. It also has 2700 mAh battery and Infrared for Remote Control feature. HTC has partnered with Harman to provide JBL earphones which comes with special effect.

It is expected to launch in early September with a price tag of ₹ 48,999.

HTC One E8 and Desire 616 now available in India

HTC One E8 has been launched in India at ₹ 34,800 along with Desire 616 for ₹ 16,990 and both will be availble online and in retail stores soon.

HTC One E8 features Android 4.4 atop Sense 6.0 with Boom Sound speakers, Qualcomm 801 2.5Ghz Quad Core CPU and 2 gigabyte RAM. It will feature the same battery size of 2600mAh as found on original HTC One M8 but will go sans duo camera and have 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel rear and front camera respectively.

While Desire 616 features a 5″ 720p Display along with 1.7GHz Octa Core MT6592 CPU coupled with 1 gigabyte RAM. There’s a 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel rear front combo with LED flash at back. Internal Storage is 4 gigs but can be expanded using SD Cards. It has Dual-SIM and 2000mAh battery and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean.

HTC has further strengthened their foothold with launch of two great devices and it will surely benefit HTC to attract new customers as both handsets are priced well according to their specifications. 

HTC seeding HTC One Android 4.4.2 update in India

HTC has started Android 4.4.2 roll out for HTC One and the update is currently rolled out in phases. HTC One Kitkat update is now rolling out in India, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia.

HTC One kitkat update is about 330MB and contains Android 4.4.2 Kitkat based changes, bug fixes, enhancements, cloud print service, security enhancements, Improved memory management and support of newer Bluetooth profiles.

Other changes include updated gallery app, do not disturb feature, lock-screen improvements, improved music app, power management enhancements, better battery life and improved camera.

Update should appear automatically and if it doen’t you can manualy check update by going to Settings > Phone Update > Check for Update.

HTC colorful phone with Octa Core processor leaked

HTC was preparing devices with Mediatek was in news from quiet a long time and now some press shots of upcoming HTC devices with Mediatek Octa Core processor are out in wild.

These unknown HTC device is powered by Mediatek Octa Core processor, runs on Android 4.3 Jellybean OS and HTC Sense UI 5.5. There is an 8 megapixel rear camera taking care of optics and a 2 megapixel front camera for smooth HD video chatting.

These devices is expected to come in a wide range of funky colors and is mainly targetting the metrosexual audiences. Considering HTC tradition we can expect prices to be little higher than competition but the design factor is what HTC users love about it and this phone doesn’t fail to impress.
